I just completed ranking and rating the Worst Web Sites of 2007!

I always hope web design will get better, but reality gets in the way. Unfortunately, 2007 was the worst year for bad web design since 1998.

In fact, about half of the sites using Mystery Meat Navigation were more poorly designed than the 10 Worst Web Sites of 2007. Contributing to the bad navigation was the misuse of Flash. There's something about Flash that causes sane people to try silly navigation schemes.

I created this site in July 1996 so I wouldn't have to teach a web design class. Since I'm one of those extremely clever marketing folks, I chose a name that had marketing appeal and was edgy for the time. I could have more accurately called the site "Web Pages That Have Problems," but nobody would remember and it's boring. I'm not boring. Check out my speech videos.
